Following a successful summer program in Houston in 2009, Innovation Norway will again host students from the Norwegian School of Entrepreneurship in 2010. The 2010 program will be held from 15 March through 4 June. The Norwegian School of Entrepreneurship (Grunderskolen program) is a joint cooperation between Innovation Norway, Oslo University's School of Entrepreneurship and Rice University's Centre for Entreprenership. During the 3 month program, students attend classes through the Rice Alliance, a division of Rice University. Combined with their studies, students will participate in field research at start-ups and young, fast growing companies in the Houston area. The overall objective of this collaboration is to give the students a taste of entrepreneurship, to help them better understand local business culture, and to stimulate ideas that can be of value to them in the future.
