On April 19th and 20th, the Nordic Council of Ministers organises an international conference to strengthen the joint vision of the Baltic and Nordic countries towards energy security, cybersecurity, market governance, as well as their impact on the climate change regulatory framework.

Baltic market for energy security

The event aims to identify upcoming energy security challenges, and set the vision for future energy cooperation development between Baltic and Nordic regions, as well as consider exportability of energy solutions to Central Asia.

A B2B matchmaking event will serve as a platform for Nordic companies to develop business relationships for market development in Baltics and further east towards Central Asia.

Opportunities for Norwegian companies

With a suitable partner from the Baltic states, Nordic companies can jointly apply for the project “Nordic Baltic Innovation in Russian Speaking Markets” that offers financing for Nordic-Baltic partnership study visit to Kazakhstan Astana Expo “Future Energy” in July 2017 and other events.

Target group for the matchmaking are Norwegian companies from the following fields:

  • clean energy
  • technology suppliers within bioenergy
  • waste-to-energy
  • energy efficiency
  • technology suppliers within LNG
  • energy IT-solutions
