DIHAD is an annual international conference and exhibition held in Dubai, UAE , established as the Middle East’s first ever humanitarian aid and development event, thereby creating a regional platform for the exchange of humanitarian ideas and values and practices.
The Event hosts a variety of tracks like the Exhibition, the Conference and Workshops. While the event creates a forum for people of the humanitarian sector to interact, foster partnership, seek donors, share knowledge, gain information on the latest trends, know success stories of other humanitarian organizations, know about new and effective products/ services launched in the market that would be beneficial to your day to day activities.
DIHAD 2018 Conference will attempt to answer the question of how we can do (even) better in terms of humanitarian assistance with the resources in hand.
There will be six individual sessions dealing with how best to deal with requirements in protracted emergencies; how to innovatively identify and use additional resources; how to develop and implement more appropriate methodologies and enhance resilience; and how to enhance the required collaboration among humanitarian aid and development actors, in context with those involved in conflict prevention; and how to make full use of new technologies.
There will also be a discussion on the moral, ethical and political considerations in humanitarian aid and lastly, in a special session, there will be a review of the outcomes to date of the 2016 World Humanitarian Summit.
