In recent years we have focused increasingly on piloting solutions in the field with our humanitarian partners in the UN and the Norwegian NGOs. This has provided humanitarian organisations with the opportunity to test new technology and its impact. Suppliers have been able to gain feedback on their offerings which has enabled them to develop better solutions to meet the needs of the humanitarian communtiy.
With our additional mandate on humanitarian innovation from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we will continue increase our efforts.
We are enabling innovation partnerships between humanitarian organisations and the private sector partners. The humanitarians have a deep understanding of the global challenges, and the private sector partners can assist with their skills to find suitable solutions.
