All over the world, creative industries are contributing to growth and job creation, and to the development of new innovative solutions for the challenges faced by businesses and society. Together with 657 Oslo in 2015 we established Creative Business Cup Norway.
Creative Business Cup is an international competition that focuses on strengthening entrepreneurship and business development within creative industries worldwide. For the first time, we are now holding semifinals in 4 cities in Norway, with the final at Startup Extreme in Bergen in June 2017.
We are looking for new and revolutionary business ideas originating from the creative industries. The business idea must have a strong market potential and at least one person from each team must have a creative industry education or background.
About Creative Business Cup
Creative Business Cup is a global initiative for entrepreneurship and innovation, established as a national competition by the Center for Culture and Experience (CKO) in Copenhagen in 2010, and as an international competition in 2012.
In 2015, nearly 60 nations participated and there were around 400 investors.
The winner of the international competition is an entrepreneur who shows a high degree of creativity and presents a business concept with considerable market potential. The prize is both financial and business support.
