On behalf of Norway, Innovation Norway Seoul was responsible for the preparation and execution of the fair while inviting Norwegian brands and communicating with other Embassies and the Department Store.
The fair aims to increase not only brands awareness toward Korean but also actual sales of lifestyle products in the Korea’s largest and premium department store. The fair is tailor made for Nordic companies already existing in Korea.
First day of the fair on October 19, there was opening ceremony with attendance of four Ambassadors and local news media.
Total 80 brands attended the fair from Nordic countries categorized by jewelry, accessory, furniture, fashion, outdoor, kitchen ware, baby/kid goods, electronics and food & beverage. As a result, sales amount of 80 Nordic brands reached KRW 500 million for five days.
