With 20 years of experience in internationalization, business strategy, marketing and communication, Hege has developed an extensive network in North America. Hege initiated the building and growth of our successful Global Entrepreneurship Marketing program, Norway New York Accelerator, Nordic Innovation House - New York as well as several successful marketing and communication campaigns for VisitNorway. Hamid joined Innovation Norway in Toronto in 2022. His background includes private, public, and academic sectors. Hamid has worked at an international medical device company, The U.S. Foreign Commercial Service (in Canada), the City of Toronto, Business Sweden (in Canada), and the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development & Trade in Senior Business or Managerial roles since 1991. Hamid holds a bachelor’s degree in medical technology, a graduate diploma in International Business, an MBA, and currently pursuing his Doctoral degree in Business Administration (DBA). He has been an Adjunct Professor of international business since 2014.
