      Kari Anne Lien is Manager Energy & Renewables at our Houston office. Kari Anne focuses on the existing energy market in Texas, but also advices on and further develops opportunities for Norwegian companies within the emerging renewables and clean energy market. Kari Anne has a background from the energy industry, with several years in global roles at ExxonMobil. She has worked the last three years assisting Norwegian companies in Houston by facilitating various networking events, establishing and managing strategic partnerships with industry clusters, industry associations, city administrations, innovation hubs and academia in her role as Senior Advisor at the Norwegian Consulate General in Houston. She has an extensive network and close contact with relevant public and private stakeholders, and high-level contacts within the major energy companies. She has excellent analytical skills and is experienced in communicating market insight and industry trends and foresights for promotional as well as market entry purposes. Kari Anne has a Business Administration (Siviløkonom) degree from Norges Handelshøyskole NHH with specialization in financial management and economics.

      Ken Huste joined the Houston office in September 2014. He has a BA in International Marketing and Public Relations from the University of Houston, with +15 years of international sales, marketing and origination experience in the offshore, maritime, and energy industries, having worked for companies such as Ship Equip, Glamox AquaSignal, and Eureka Pumps. Ken has also spent a number of those years working as Sales and Operations Manager for the Four Seasons Hotel. Ken has lived in Houston since 1985 and is fluent in English and Norwegian.
