Estonia - Green ICT

The Green ICT Programme in Estonia is a business development programme aiming to increase value creation and sustainable growth in the Estonian business sector.

The Programme is part of the EEA and Norway Grants 2014-2021. The EEA and Norway Grants aim at contributing to the reduction of economic and social disparities in the European Economic Area (EEA) and to the strengthening of bilateral relations between the Donor States (Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) and the Beneficiary States. Read more about the EEA and Norway Grants.

 

About the Green ICT Call 

The open call for projects on Green Industry Innovation, ICT and Welfare Technology closed on 1 February 2021 and evaluation is ongoing.

The programme “Green ICT” objective is increased value creation and sustainable growth in Estonia’s private sector. Green ICT aims to stimulate and develop innovation-led long-term business cooperation between Estonia and Norway. For this bilateral cooperation projects are supported to enhance joint business ambitions and innovation.

Programme supports projects  in three focus areas: Green Industry Innovation, ICT and Welfare Technology. Projects with ICT components can be relevant for support in the focus areas  across Green Industry Innovation and Welfare Technology. 

Bilateral cooperations are highly encouraged in the programme. Enterprise Estonia in cooperation with Innovation Norway assists companies to find new partners via contact searches and matchmaking events, applying for a grant and implementing the project
