03/03/2023: Lithuania, Call for Proposals on ICT

The EEA Grants Programme on Business Development, Innovation and SMEs in Lithuania launches an Open Call for Project Proposals on ICT!

Norwegian-Lithuanian partnership projects are highly encouraged. 

The Business Development, Innovation and SMEs Programme aims to increase competitiveness, value creation and sustainable growth in Lithuania as well as to increase cooperation between Lithuania and Norway.

The Call on ICT 

The projects focus on the introduction (application) of new technological solutions for digitalisation or automation of production processes.
The programme is financed by Norway. Lithuanian-Norwegian partnerships are highly encouraged. A project partner from Norway can contribute to the project activities, e.g. by consulting or advising on the application of technological solutions.

The call deadline is 3 March 2023.  


Available funding  

The available budget for the call is approx. 3,000,000 euro. 

Grant amount per project could be in the range of 200,000-600,000 euro.

The grant rate (aid intensity) for acquisition of technological solutions (equipment, including software) is 45% for micro and small entities and 35% for medium entities. The aid intensity for consultancy is up to 50%.

Who can apply? 

Any small or medium sized enterprise (SMEs) established as a legal person in Lithuania.

Who can be partner? 

Eligible partners are any private or public entity, commercial or non-commercial, established as a legal person in Norway or in Lithuania.

Projects that include a Norwegian partners are highly encouraged with additional points in selection.

The EEA and Norway Grants also aim to strengthen the bilateral cooperation between Lithuania and Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. The open call encourages partnerships in the projects with additional points in selection.

There are travel grants available for Norwegian or Lithuanian entities to travel and meet each other with the aim of exploring a joint application.
