High Added Value for Norwegian Partners

Innovation Norway's annual Customer Impact Survey starts by asking the general question of added value. In 2022, 80% of all Norwegian project partners report that their participation in the projects has high added value. This is a higher results than the average for the survey overall.

The other results of the survey show the results from Norwegian participation in EEA and Norway Grants projects:

• 63% of the partners expect an increase in turnover as a result of the cooperation
• 48% expect increased exports
• 50% expect increased competitiveness
• 77% expect an improved level of innovation
• 77% expect increased competence
• 81% expect increased cooperation with other partners beyond the projects.
• Over 50% expect a reduction in pollution from business activities
• 41% expect an improved use of resources
• 45% expect an improved chance of survival
• 36% increased employment by creating jobs

Furthermore, 92% of partnership projects will continue the cooperation beyond the project.

The bilateral cooperation gives the companies involved international training and experience in cooperating in Europe and within the EEA Internal Market. It helps expand business opportunities, provides access to networks, visibility, and strategic partnerships, and can be a stepping-stone for marked access and further cooperation within EU projects.

What’s in it for us?

Innovation Norway’s Customer Satisfaction Survey shows that the bilateral cooperation brings added value and mutual benefits to the project partners in Norway. Having a strong professional and research environments in Norway in the relevant areas, Norwegian companies and research institutions contribute to the success of the projects in areas such as green transition, blue growth, reduction of waste and emissions, resource efficiency and circular economy initiatives, as well as Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and welfare technology/ambient assisted living, among others. The companies in the Beneficiary States draw on the competencies of their Donor partners, and the cooperation benefits the Norwegian partners too.

There are currently 154 Norwegian partners involved in 221 different projects spread over 10 European countries.
