Romania: Increasing efficiency and expanding capacity in furniture production

Furniture production
Romanian furniture company Expo Mob have successfully implemented a project with the aim to expand their company's capacity to produce furniture in a more efficient fashion, in collaboration with their Norwegian partner, Noveltex

ExpoMob is a family-owned company founded in 1998 whose main activity is tailor-made furniture manufacturing. Given that their approach in recent years has been to reduce as much waste as possible, the partnership with Norwegian company Noveltex, and their ensuing project funded through the EEA and Norway Grants, has integrated perfectly into the company's ethos.

Through the Grants, ExpoMob have managed to implement new technologies and equipment which lead to less energy consumption, less paint vapour emitted in the atmosphere and a more efficient method to manage the sawdust produced in the process.
