Rolf Almklov is managing the Tokyo office. He could provide your company with strategic advices related to internationalization processes, as well as practical advices on how to establish your business in Japan. Rolf has more than 25 years working experience supporting Norwegian businesses abroad. He has previously held the positions as Director of Innovation Norway’s and the Norwegian Trade Council’s offices in China, Italy and Turkey – with 5 years’ service in each country. He has also held the positions as Regional Director of Innovation Norway’s activities in Russia, as well as the Baltics, Central Europe and Turkey. Michal Louis Berg is project manager / senior advisor with a special focus on Invest in Norway’s activities in Japan. Michal acts as the local representative for Invest in Norway at Innovation Norway’s office in Tokyo and work towards attracting Japanese FDI to Norway and partnership opportunities for Norwegian companies, in close cooperation with colleagues in Japan and Norway. Michal has lived in Japan 13 years and for 7 of these years he was the Executive Director of the Norwegian Chamber of Commerce. He has a Bachelor degree in Exports Marketing from Ålesund University College, Norway and 2 semesters of Japanese language studies at Sophia University, Japan. He speaks Norwegian, Japanese and English fluently.

Svein Grandum has more than 14 years of experience from Japan; as a scientist and as a representative for a major Norwegian company. He is currently serving as the science and technology counselor for the second time. He has a Master degree from Norwegian Institute of Technology in energy technology and a PhD from the University of Tsukuba in Japan within materials science. Because of his key competence in the energy and material area, he is an important part of the energy sector specialist team in Innovation Norway.
