Energy in the North is a business cluster in Northern Norway that contributes to energy conversion and value creation for companies and societies in the north. Getting the world's energy production and energy consumption into carbon-neutral forms of energy is one of the most important prerequisites for realizing the agreed emission reductions in the Paris Agreement.
Northern Norway has large resources and extensive expertise in the production, transmission, storage and industrial processing of carbon-neutral energy. In order to trigger the opportunities that this part of the country has within this field, they want to lift in droves across regions and industries. Energy in the North has been established to contribute to such a joint boost.
