    The Indian healthcare market is among the largest sectors both in terms of revenue and employment. From an estimated USD 280 billion market size in 2020, the industry is expected to reach USD 372 billion by 2022. The key factors driving growth are- increasing incidence of lifestyle diseases, rising demand for affordable healthcare, technological advancements, the emergence of telemedicine and other health IT services, health insurance penetration and government initiatives in the sector.

     

    • By 2020, India is expected to rank among the top 3 healthcare markets in terms of incremental growth (Source: Invest India)
    • By 2020, the healthcare IT market is expected to grow 1.5 times from the current USD 1 billion
    • By 2022, the diagnostics market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 20.4% to reach USD 32 billion from USD 5 billion in 2012

    IN New Delhi is organizing an online session for Norwegian healthcare companies to develop a better understanding of the healthcare sector in India and how to navigate potential partners/clients as well as effectively distribute Norwegian healthcare solutions to India.
