The workshop/conclave aims to present Norwegian companies with an opportunity to understand and enter the fast-growing Bioenergy market in India. The launch of SATAT (Sustainable Alternative towards Affordable Transportation) scheme in 2018, a government of India initiative to install 5000 biogas plants by 2025, created a buzz in the market. This creates a right opportunity for the Norwegian companies to get into the Indian biogas market.
Keeping this in mind, the workshop/conclave will focus on how Indian biogas market can be a stepping stone for Norwegian companies. The webinar will showcase the current biogas scenario in India and available policies support from the Indian government, as well as some interesting cases which can be replicated across the country to ensure the growth of the sector.
