Hilde is the Director of Innovation Norway’s operation in the UK and Ireland. Hilde specialises in advising C-Suite level teams on how to expand their businesses overseas and acts as a facilitator in launching and scaling innovative or disruptive products and services across global markets. Her clients operate across multiple sectors, and Hilde leads several new commercialisation initiatives within IIoT, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence in collaboration with Norway’s leading tech scale-ups through Innovation Norway’s Tech City Executive Accelerator (TEA) program at Level 39 in Canary Wharf. Hilde has held various special advisory and leadership roles globally, including Silicon Valley and London. She is a Board Member at Skagen Funds, a Scandinavian mutual fund company and a member of the Advisory Board of ID Inclusion. Hilde holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Economy and Technology Management from NTNU in Norway and an MBA from the University of Bath.
Britt’s role is to promote the Norwegian MICE (Meetings, Incentive, Conference, Events) segment to British buyers and to assist in attracting international congresses to Norway. Britt has excellent knowledge of the tourist industry having been part of the Visit Norway team for 12 years and an extensive network within the UK MICE segment. Previously she worked in FMCG and the entertainment industry, where she gained a thorough understanding of international marketing. Britt holds Bachelor of Commerce from Birmingham University and an MBA from Aston Business School.
Camille works across industry sectors and assists Norwegian companies with international business development. Before joining Innovation Norway she worked for the Science and Technology Department at the French embassy in Beijing, assisting companies and research institutions in building partnerships in China. She holds a Master’s degree in mechanical and aerospace engineering from ISAE-ENSMA in France.
Catherine is Country Manager for Visit Norway in UK and Ireland and has worked at Innovation Norway in London since 2004. She has extensive knowledge of the UK travel industry and has many years’ experience in consumer and trade marketing and consumer PR. She has managed and implemented several International marketing campaigns including helping to establish Norway as one of the best and most popular Northern Lights destinations in the World. Catherine holds a BA (hons) Travel and Tourism Business Management from the University of Northumbria.
Jørgen has been part of the trade team since the end of 2017 and supports Norwegian companies with strategic advice and operational assistance related to internationalisation and business development in the UK market. Jørgen typically works with scale-ups in the early phases of market entry with gaining market insights, identifying potential partners and with mapping relevant ecosystems, networks, and market structures. He works with projects across multiple sectors, but mainly works with the market opportunities IIoT and Artificial Intelligence, Fintech, Smart Societies, and with tech scale-ups through the Tech City Executive Accelerator (TEA) program. Before joining Innovation Norway, he worked 3 years in London with industrial research as an analyst for construction and energy-related sectors. He holds a Master in International Marketing and Management from Copenhagen Business School
Maren joined Innovation Norway as a Media Specialist for Visit Norway, but transferred to the trade team in 2020 and now works across industry sectors and assist Norwegian companies with international business development. She also works with communication and content production. Before joining Innovation Norway Maren worked as an advisor for several years in Oslo across various sectors. She holds BA’s in Criminology and Social Anthropology and a Master’s degree in Journalism.
Sandra is trade and events responsible for the tourism sector. She organises the Norwegian workshop in London each year as well as the Norwegian stand at World Travel Market and the UK participation at the Norwegian Travel Workshop in Norway. Another important part of her work is training UK tour operators and organising FAM trips. Sandra holds a bachelor of Science in Business Administration specialising in Tourism from Södertörns University in Stockholm.
Sinéad works across industry sectors and assists Norwegian companies with international business development. She works closely with Team Norway, which in the UK consists of Innovation Norway, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Norwegian Seafood Council, and the Norwegian British Chamber of Commerce, to contribute to increased value creation in the Norwegian economy through information exchange and coordinated initiatives. Sinéad holds a MSc in Politics and Government of the European Union from London School of Economics and Political Science.
