Saas Sales - Learn how to build and scale faster sales in the US market

Do you want to establish or increase sales in the United States? This program teaches Norwegian tech companies to scale faster in the US market.

Norwegian version

March 2024: Trade Mission USA takes a group of Norwegian SaaS companies to Silicon Valley for two days to explore the American market. They also participate in a webinar before and after the trip. Through the program, participants will improve their sales skills and make important contacts to increase exports to the United States.

Who should apply

  • Ambitious and export-oriented entrepreneurs who want to develop or refine their sales process for scaling in the US.
  • Norwegian technology companies that want to increase their user base in the US interested in expanding to the US, or building a sales organization in the US.
  • Participating companies should have some revenue, access to their own sales data, and the capacity to prepare for and carry out the planned activities.

What you get

We offer a mix of fundamental learning, advanced market insights, and strategic approaches specifically aimed at the unique requirements and opportunities in the American market.

This program is for companies in an early phase that want to tailor their sales processes and enter the American market efficiently. Topics covered include selling more effectively, identifying the right customer profiles, pushing deals forward, and shortening the sales process.

By the end of this program, participating companies will have gained insight into building and structuring a solid and repeatable sales process, enabling them to conduct effective and good contact and sales conversations with potential customers.

Program and timeline

The introductory webinar is set for December 2023 with continuation in January and February 2024. The market visit is planned for March.

  • 3 x 2 hours of online workshops
  • 16 hours of on-site bootcamp in Silicon Valley over two days
  • 1:1 advisory and consultation with Silicon Valley mentors

Participation fee

There is a participation fee, NOK 20.000,- per company to cover the costs associated with organizing the programme, networking events and relevant activities. The participation fee does not include flights, accommodation and meals outside the programme.

What is Trade Mission?

Trade Mission is an export program that consists of a group of Norwegian companies that want to learn more about international growth.

The companies go on a 2-3 day trade delegation to a specific market, and participate in webinars before and after this journey. The purpose is to establish or increase exports in this market.

Trade Mission gives the participants a unique insight and access to potential customers and partners in the specific export market.
