In this webinar, you will learn where the greatest opportunities lie, which products and services can benefit from the agreement, and what your company needs to do to take advantage of these benefits in practice. We will cover rules of origin, documentation and other key requirements, so you are well prepared to make use of the agreement.
The free trade agreement between the EFTA countries and Mercosur will gradually give Norwegian companies better access to South American markets. At the same time, many Norwegian businesses still have limited knowledge of the agreement's provisions and practical implications.
The webinar will make the agreement more tangible and relevant by highlighting the opportunities it creates, the requirements it entails, and how your business can prepare to take advantage of it. The initial focus will be on Brazil, the largest and most important market in the Mercosur region for Norwegian exporters.
Purpose:
Give Norwegian companies a practical, opportunity-focused introduction to the EFTA-Mercosur agreement, with particular emphasis on:
• The market opportunities created by the agreement.
• Which goods and services are covered, and how tariff reductions will be phased in.
• The requirements companies must meet to benefit from the agreement.
• How companies can prepare by ensuring the correct documentation and classification, and applying the rules of origin.
