Technical trade workshop for fashion companies exporting to the EU and UK

Does your company have the most efficient and cost-saving solution when it comes to logistics, customs, VAT, product requirements and labelling? Which technical trade issues do you need to have under control when selling to the EU and the United Kingdom (UK)? Have you taken the steps that help reduce costs, avoid delays at the border and ensure compliance?
We invite you to join a professional workshop with our independent subject-matter experts and export advisors specialising in logistics and delivery terms, customs and VAT, product requirements and labelling, as well as international contracts and e-commerce. The programme is particularly suitable for companies looking to streamline their export processes and with strategic plans to grow sales in Europe or the UK.
The programme is relevant for CEOs, COOs, and those responsible for procurement, logistics or finance, as well as anyone handling orders, shipments and customer terms.
The workshop will feature short expert sessions (15–25 minutes), with time set aside to discuss specific issues. You can also arrange a free one-to-one meeting afterwards for more detailed follow-up.
The programme focuses on:
• Customs: HS codes, origin and documentation: What are the common customs and documentation pitfalls for textiles and fashion?
• VAT and duty management (EU + UK): How to choose a suitable VAT model for B2B/B2C sales (including e-commerce) and understand import responsibilities.
• Logistics and delivery models: Understand how your choice of logistics setup (Incoterms, warehousing/3PL, returns) affects costs, risk and the customer journey.
• Contracts and terms: Drafting and improving key commercial terms and contracts (agent/distributor agreements, B2B terms of sale, e-commerce terms).
• Product requirements and labelling (EU and UK): Identify relevant product requirements and labelling obligations for clothing, footwear, accessories and packaging in the EU and UK.
• Summary: Create a ‘mini-checklist’ for your business to use internally and in future work.
