Til Elise Fra Marius wins regional agriculture award in Nordland

The award winners are delighted to receive the award:
«We are overjoyed by the news. Receiving an award like this motivates us to keep developing our work and collaborating with producers in the area. Our project would not have been possible without the outstanding suppliers who are investing in the region.»
Together, they have created an outstanding food destination offering both culinary experiences and accommodation. Their 'From pasture to plate' concept brings memorable dining experiences to the 'Til Elise' farm hotel and the 'Fra Marius' farm restaurant. At Fra Marius, Marius is responsible for the culinary concepts. The aim is for ingredients to travel the shortest possible distance from their natural source to guests, with a focus on high-quality local produce and ingredients. Elise's sister Solveig and her husband, for example, run a nearby farm that supplies the meat.
Nationally and internationally recognised
Til Elise Fra Marius has previously won several awards and attracted considerable attention both regionally and nationally. Among other notable occasions, HM Queen Sonja celebrated her 85th birthday at the restaurant in 2022. Our Regional Director, Monica Ahyee, is full of praise for the award winners:
'Til Elise Fra Marius is a worthy winner of the 2024 Rural Business Development Award in Nordland. The two chefs, Elise and Marius, have built an impressive business offering outstanding dining experiences and accommodation. By focusing on locally sourced ingredients and products, and drawing on an impressive national and international network, they have created a culinary destination that is helping put Norway on the international food map,' says Ahyee.
