Villbrygg AS wins Oslo award!

The drinks producer says it is a great honour to receive the award and that it inspires them to continue their work:
'At Villbrygg, we are passionate about harnessing the unique diversity of flavours found in Norwegian nature to create exciting alcohol-free drinks. This involves building new local supply chains and developing innovative methods to make the best possible use of our raw materials. Receiving the BU Award is a great honour that brings us both joy and motivation to continue the complex work of bringing nature's flavours to more people,' says Vanessa Krogh, General Manager of Villbrygg.
Since its launch in 2018, Villbrygg has produced flavourful alcohol-free drinks that offer appealing alternatives to alcoholic beverages. Its products use wild ingredients from the Norwegian countryside, such as edible weeds and herbs. The company works closely with farmers and foragers, including students, young people and refugees.
Our Regional Director for Oslo and Viken, Kristin Willoch Haugen, believes the drinks producer is a worthy winner:
«The jury was impressed by Villbrygg's use of locally sourced, wild ingredients to create quality products that are exported to gourmet restaurants abroad, among others. Their products offer healthy, flavourful alternatives to alcoholic drinks and help meet growing demand.»
Local and international success
In its assessment, the jury highlights the company's revenue and growth, as well as the fact that Villbrygg's products are now available at Vinmonopolet and in Michelin-starred restaurants in New York, demonstrating the quality of its products.
Villbrygg is a pioneer in alcohol-free beverages. By combining traditional techniques with new research and innovation, the company has developed its own unique production methods. Villbrygg also has an innovative business model, renting production capacity and securing funding from sources including 2,000 small-scale investors.
