Crown Prince Haakon and our CEO, Håkon Haugli, connected the power from the ‘local ideas’ light source to ‘global opportunities’ on stage at the opening of our new head office.

Also present were Siv Henriette Jacobsen, Chair of Viken County Council, and Mari Sundli Tveit, CEO of the Research Council of Norway.

The guests were given a tour of the new premises and met the employees.

Grev Wedels plass

Our new head office is located at Grev Wedels plass 9 in central Oslo. Our regional office for Oslo and Viken is also moving here, while retaining its offices near Sarpsborg and in Drammen.

'Moving from our offices in Akersgata, in the former Industribanken building, to Grev Wedels plass is a milestone for us. These premises are better suited to our mission, more accessible and better equipped for meetings with Norwegian businesses. We look forward to using our new offices to help create more successful entrepreneurs, more high-growth companies and new industries with growth and export potential,' says our CEO, Håkon Haugli.

Sustainability

- 'I know you set ambitious environmental standards, and rightly so. After all, you represent innovation and the future. With solar panels on the roof, recycling and reuse, as well as environmentally friendly materials, I believe you have achieved what you were looking for,' said Minister of Trade and Industry Jan Christian Vestre.

Reuse and sustainability have played an important role in creating our new office. We have reused old furniture, radiators and doors, and the stair coverings are made from materials including recycled washbasins and toilets. By choosing premises in a refurbished building rather than constructing a new one, we have significantly reduced our carbon footprint.

Our head office employees will move in at the end of January, followed by our Oslo and Viken regional office in April.
