New Chair of the Board at Innovation Norway
Deputy Chair Kristin Misund has served as Chair since July 2023, when former Chair Gunnar Bovim was appointed Chair of the Research Council of Norway.

We play a central role in helping Norwegian companies access capital, expertise and networks, and we have an important responsibility to society to develop the businesses of tomorrow,' says Ola H. Strand, our new Chair of the Board.
Ola H. Strand has extensive business and leadership experience from his roles as CEO of several major organisations, including Coop Norge and SAS Norway. He currently chairs the board of St. Olav's University Hospital and serves as deputy chair of Avinor and the Institute of Transport Economics. He previously chaired the board of the Central Norway Regional Health Authority. Strand also has experience in developing new companies and business models, including as head of Global Fresh Food, a food technology start-up.
Our Board of Directors must reflect our work in business development at regional, national and international levels. The Nomination Committee comprises representatives of our owners and is chaired by Ingelise Arntsen.
The next ordinary general meeting will take place in May 2024. Strand has been elected Chair of our Board of Directors for the period from 26 February 2024 until the general meeting in 2026.
