'It is a great honour for Norway to be selected as the partner country at the world's largest industrial trade fair. Hannover Messe is perhaps the most important showcase for international industry. Taking part gives Norwegian companies a unique opportunity to showcase their innovative products and solutions for the green transition,' said Støre.

Støre and Scholz were accompanied by Norway's new Minister of Trade and Industry, Cecilie Myrseth, and Minister of Energy, Terje Aasland. Myrseth and Aasland will take part in several Norwegian events at the trade fair over the coming days.

Close collaboration

'I am convinced that Norway's presence at the Hannover Messe will further strengthen the close cooperation between our two countries,' Støre said.

The Norwegian pavilion at Hannover Messe will showcase 23 Norwegian companies working in energy, batteries, carbon capture and storage, Industry 4.0 and artificial intelligence.
