Department Manager
Henning heads Innovation Norway's offices in China. He can help you with strategic advice related to internationalization and establishing your company in the Chinese market. Henning has more than twenty years of experience working with Norway-China projects. His previous experiences include being director of public affairs in Asia for Det Norske Veritas, director of international relations at BI Norwegian Business School, and manager of the Nordic Centre at Fudan University in Shanghai. Henning has studied anthropology, Chinese language and culture at the University of Oslo.

Jessie has been a senior advisor at Innovation Norway since 2017. Based in Shanghai, Jessie works a lot with creative industries, sports and leisure and the construction sector. She has more than 15 years of professional experience in assisting Nordic companies that want to establish and develop in China. With in-depth knowledge of both public and private players in the Chinese market, she can help you with market advice, partner searches and negotiations. Jessie speaks Chinese and English.

Jiwu has been with Innovation Norway since 2001, and in Beijing he leads the office's work on bioeconomy. With in-depth knowledge of the seafood and agricultural industries in Norway and China, he is happy to answer questions related to fisheries, seafood, farming, marine biotechnology, agriculture, food and drink. Jiwu speaks Chinese and English.
Song Lin
Senior Advisor
Lin Song has been with us since 1996 and is our most experienced employee. He leads the office's work with the maritime sector, but is also the one who takes on special assignments within various sectors. Lin Song has in-depth knowledge of trade and investment relationships in various industries, and can assist with advice related to establishment and operational strategy in China. He is a qualified electronics engineer and has a Master of Management from BI in Oslo and Fudan in Shanghai. He speaks Chinese and English.
Peng Gao
Senior Advisor
Peng Gao has worked for Innovation Norway since 2009, and in China he leads the work on smart societies. He is also happy to answer questions related to information and communication technology, carbon capture and storage and heavy industry. He has extensive experience from Norwegian and Chinese business, a large network and in-depth knowledge of the Chinese market. He has a Ph.d. and is fluent in Chinese and English.

Michelle has been with us since 2010. She mainly works with accounts, HR and administration, and is our faithful helper at events. She has more than 14 years of experience as an accountant from multinational companies. Michelle holds a BA in Finance and Accounting and speaks Chinese and English.
Alex Jian Wu
Senior Advisor
Alex has been a senior advisor at Innovation Norway since 2011. He is well acquainted with the Chinese healthcare sector and can assist with market insight and strategic advice. Alex works with projects related to winter sports and is our e-commerce expert. He is also responsible for Invest in Norway in China, and has extensive experience from international business and finance, and with e-commerce, health technology and the pharmaceutical sector. He speaks Chinese and English.
Qin Shi
Senior Advisor
Qin has been with us since 2007. Based in Shanghai, she works with sectors such as clean energy, smart cities and the bioeconomy, and she leads Innovation Norway's collaborative project on environmental technology in the province of Jiangsu. Qin has extensive experience in assisting Norwegian companies in China, and can help with strategic advice, market access and establishment. Qin has an MBA and is fluent in Chinese, Shanghainese, English and German.
Lei Qu

Lei has been a senior advisor for energy and the environment with us since 2014. She is head of the Norwegian Energy and Environment Consortium (NEEC) and is at the forefront of the office's work on renewable energy. Questions about offshore wind, water and waste treatment or energy and the environment in general can be directed to her. She has over eleven years of international professional experience from the energy and environmental sector and broad expertise in the public sector, project management, market analysis and business development in the Chinese market. Lei is fluent in Chinese, English and Italian.
