EEA and Norway Grants

In EEA projects, a Norwegian company works with a company in one of the 15 EU countries that receive funding. The company in the recipient country applies for the project and leads it on behalf of the partnership.
We manage the programmes in Bulgaria, Greece and Romania through our offices in these countries, and we are a partner in programmes managed by local authorities in Estonia, Croatia, Latvia, Poland and Portugal. We help Norwegian companies establish partnerships and take part in collaborative projects.
Norwegian companies can access funding by becoming project partners. The grant supports joint development, testing and piloting of new technologies and solutions, as well as knowledge transfer.
As a project partner, your company can grow internationally and explore business opportunities in Europe. You can build your network, increase your visibility and form strategic partnerships across borders.
Project collaboration also helps you gain a better understanding of different business cultures and, importantly, supports sustainable growth across Europe.
There are several ways to find a potential partner, and frequently asked questions and answers about the EEA and Norway Grants may help.
We also organise online and in-person networking events ahead of every application deadline. These events give companies the opportunity to meet and discuss what each party can contribute to a partnership. We publish all upcoming events on our website and social media and share them in our newsletter.
A company may also contact you directly. If you have any questions afterwards, get in touch with us.
