Incubator grant

An innovation environment seeking to establish a relevant and strong incubator to develop growth companies.
The innovation environment must play a key role in the innovation ecosystem, with incubation as a core activity.
Incubators operate our incubation programme and help develop sustainable, future-ready businesses.
The grant supports the development of start-ups and helps established companies with international potential to grow.
The incubator will provide access to expertise, networks and capital. It will be an innovation hub that brings together entrepreneurs, businesses, academia, research and development communities, investors and other stakeholders.
We also give the incubator access to a competence platform offering courses, webinars, networking and competence-building events, methodologies, templates and best practices for business development and commercialisation.
The incubation programme aims to increase value creation, support sustainable transformation and boost exports among businesses across Norway. It will achieve this by effectively identifying, developing and commercialising promising ideas to create new growth companies and drive growth in established businesses.
Through the programme, companies gain access to expertise, networks, partners and capital, as well as the opportunity to draw on others' experience to accelerate their growth and development.
The incubation programme is funded by the county authorities through the Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development. The county authorities commission the programme activities, and we manage the programme.
