Business garden grant

Innovation companies (with a majority of shares held privately) that form an innovation ecosystem together with other stakeholders and aim to establish a relevant and robust business garden, primarily for companies in rural Norway.
Business gardens operate our Business Garden Programme and help develop sustainable, future-oriented businesses in rural areas.
The grant supports business development in rural areas. The business garden will initiate and facilitate competence-building and networking activities, and offer professional services, advisory and tools relevant to small and medium-sized enterprises.
We also give the business garden access to a competence platform offering courses, webinars, networking and competence-building events, methods, templates and best practices for business development and transformation.
The Business Garden Programme aims to increase value creation by building on regional strengths and supporting the development of sustainable, adaptable businesses.
Through the programme, businesses gain access to expertise, networks, partners and capital, as well as the opportunity to draw on others' experience to accelerate their growth and development.
The Business Garden Programme is funded by the county authorities through the Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development. The county authorities commission the programme, and we manage it.
