At Grüne Woche in Berlin, a range of Norwegian regional businesses showcase their products with the aim of building networks, developing products and promoting Norway.
For 40 years, the trade fair has been an important meeting place and a platform for showcasing and testing products for Norwegian food and drink producers from across the country. Participation forms part of the established initiatives to promote Norwegian agriculture and food.

About Internationale Grüne Woche (IGW)
The food, drink and agriculture trade fair celebrates its centenary in 2026 and brings together more than 1,500 exhibitors from around 70 countries each year. The fair attracts around 300,000 visitors.
IGW is a showcase and testing arena for Norwegian food, drink and tourism experiences. A range of Norwegian companies take part to build networks, develop products and promote Norway's food culture and tourism. Our participation is part of the established initiatives to promote Norwegian agriculture and food.
The trade fair also provides a forum for discussing business development, policy, and the region's ambitions and goals for its food sector. Politicians and other public-sector stakeholders working in the industry are invited to take part. Local food and sustainable tourism are key themes, and the work carried out in Berlin lays the foundation for continued collaboration and dialogue back home.
Norway's participation at Internationale Grüne Woche in Berlin is organised jointly by the project owner, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, and us at Innovation Norway, who are responsible for delivery, with support from the Norwegian Embassy in Berlin. At regional level, county authorities, the Offices of the County Governors, the Sámi Parliament, our regional offices and business organisations, including HANEN, coordinate the exhibiting companies.
