Norwegian Industrial Property Office
The Norwegian Industrial Property Office grants patent, trademark and design rights. On its website, you will find a wide range of courses, webinars and meetings on intellectual property rights and related topics – from basic introductions to in-depth sessions for specialists. Many are available as recordings, so you can watch them whenever it suits you.
International IP organisations
Do you need help with intellectual property rights as you expand internationally? Here you will find an overview of key international organisations that can help you protect your ideas and inventions.
- World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO): The World Intellectual Property Organization. It works with international rights relating to patents, trademarks, designs, copyright, trade secret protection and more.
- European Patent Office (EPO): The Office receives, processes and decides on European patent applications in accordance with the rules set out in the European Patent Convention (EPC). Norway is a member.
- European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO): The EU authority responsible for managing trade marks and designs. It works with intellectual property offices in EU Member States and international partners to provide a seamless registration experience for trade marks and designs in Europe and worldwide.
