Disbursement and reporting
If we require the project to be fully financed, you must provide documentation in the form of a declaration from an auditor, financial institution, lawyer or authorised accountant. For equity contributions, the documentation must confirm that notice of the capital increase has been submitted to the Register of Business Enterprises. For subordinated loans, the loan agreement must contain terms that we can accept.
Payment deadline
Your offer letter states the payment deadline you must meet. We set this deadline at three months after the project ends. If your project is delayed, contact us to apply for an extension. We cannot grant extensions indefinitely, and the offer may lapse if the payment deadline passes. You are responsible for keeping track of your payment deadlines.
We reserve the right to request information about the project's progress at any time.
Documentation requirements
To receive a grant from us, you must document the costs associated with the approved activities in the offer letter in project accounts reviewed by an auditor. If you are not subject to a statutory audit, an authorised accountant may review the project accounts. Read more about our requirements for audit procedures here.
If your company wishes, we can make advance and partial payments in line with the guidelines set out in the offer letter. To receive any payment, you must submit a payment request through My Page/Online Banking.
In many cases, we allow a partial payment once you have completed 50% of the project. Offer letters issued up to 7 April 2026 state that partial payments require project accounts reviewed by an auditor in accordance with ISRS 4400. Under new guidelines effective from this date, we waive this requirement for partial payments. This means that you can request a partial payment by submitting project accounts that have not been reviewed by an auditor or authorised accountant. Please note that you must still arrange an audit review in accordance with the latest guidelines published on our website: https://www.innovasjonnorge.no/artikkel/kontrollhandlinger.
At the end of the project, you must provide project accounts reviewed by an auditor or authorised accountant in accordance with the requirements set out at https://www.innovasjonnorge.no/artikkel/kontrollhandlinger. You must also submit a written final report describing the planned and completed activities, the results achieved and an assessment of the benefits.
Any excess grant funding you have received that cannot be documented in accordance with the requirements above must be repaid.

Partial loan disbursement
