Agrilogg wins regional agriculture award!

Bjørn Tore Aksnes and Jan Øystein Aksnes accepted the award, presented by Innovation Norway during the Dyregod Days in Batnfjordsøra on 6 September.
'This was a little unexpected,' said the winners.
A leading supplier
Agrilogg AS from Ørsta was an early provider of software solutions for agriculture. Today, the company is a leading supplier with a versatile system developed in close dialogue with users. The system meets documentation requirements, enables more efficient use of resources and helps farmers become more productive.
The founders of Agrilogg also have other new ventures in the pipeline, including a concept designed to address challenges related to the sale and distribution of local food.
'Bondebuda is a non-profit initiative from Agrilogg, which means Agrilogg will not make any money from the business. The aim is for local farmers to earn more than they would by supplying food to the major supermarket chains. We want to establish more Bondebuda outlets across the country, so please get in touch,' the winners urged.
- Solving key challenges in agriculture
The jury highlights the following reasons for awarding the prize:
Agrilogg AS is an innovative technology company with strong roots in agriculture. Working closely with the industry, the company develops digital tools that address key agricultural challenges and help farmers become more productive. The company has achieved solid growth and profitability since its launch and has created several skilled jobs in the region.
The jury comprised representatives from the Møre og Romsdal Farmers’ Union, the Norwegian Farmers and Smallholders Union in Møre og Romsdal, the County Governor of Møre og Romsdal and Innovation Norway.
– The kind of innovation we need
Helge Gjerde, Regional Director at Innovation Norway Møre og Romsdal, says he is impressed by the company from Ørsta:
‘Agrilogg represents the kind of innovation we need in Norwegian agriculture. The company has identified a genuine need and developed a solution that delivers practical benefits for users, while enabling more efficient farm management and giving farmers a stronger basis for decision-making,’ says Gjerde.
