The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries has asked us to coordinate, organise and deliver a targeted business delegation in connection with the UN Climate Change Conference in Dubai, taking place from 30 November to 12 December 2023.

Our aim is to promote and showcase Norwegian green solutions, including low-emission solutions, and demonstrate how they can help achieve global climate targets. We will carry out this work in partnership with relevant public support agencies and organisations. DNV, Eksfin, Equinor, Hydro, NHO, UN Global Compact Norway and Yara are among the partners already on board.

COP stands for Conference of the Parties and refers to the annual negotiations between countries that have signed the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. COP also attracts businesses, non-profit organisations and others committed to helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions, with a wide range of events taking place alongside the negotiations.

Business interest in the climate conference has grown, and COP has also become an important meeting place for showcasing and scaling innovative solutions needed to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement.

We will provide more practical information about the business delegation and the registration process in August.
