Norwegian business delegation to the UK 2023

Norway and the UK are committed to a green industrial transition, with the goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. This presents significant opportunities and challenges for businesses in both countries.
On 1 March, we will bring together influential leaders and decision-makers from the private and public sectors to discuss these important issues.
By working together, Norway and the UK can make significant progress towards a more sustainable future and set an example for other countries to follow.
Energy and climate technology
We invite Norwegian and British companies and business leaders in clean energy and technologies that advance the green transition.
The UK aims to become a 'clean energy superpower' by the end of this decade, and Norway has the resources and solutions to help the UK achieve this goal. By working together on the research, development and deployment of lower-emission technologies, hydrogen, CCS (carbon capture and storage) and offshore wind, we can make significant progress.
There is also an urgent need to reduce electricity prices and strengthen energy security. Artificial intelligence and other digital technologies will be crucial to improving efficiency and reducing the cost of delivering the transition. This also presents significant opportunities for investment and industrial scale-up.
Programme
By joining the programme, you can attend a full-day conference in London. The opening plenary will be attended by the Crown Prince and Crown Princess of Norway and government ministers, followed by two engaging parallel conference programmes focusing on ‘energy’ and ‘climate technology’. After the conference, you can attend a reception with the Crown Prince and Crown Princess. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain new insights, explore ideas, develop them further and make new connections!
The UK and London's position as a leading hub for technology and finance in Europe will be important for Norwegian companies as we accelerate our transition to green technology.
