Investments in commercial buildings and production facilities

Farmers planning to invest in upgrading or renovating an existing farm building or production facility, or constructing a new one.
The Agricultural Agreement sets out the following priorities:
- Small and medium-sized farms
- Dairy and cattle farms that need to adapt to the loose housing requirement. Dairy farms with up to 30 cows receive particular priority.
- Investments to improve animal welfare
- Investments in the grain, fruit, vegetable and greenhouse sectors
- Projects featuring climate- and energy-efficient solutions
We do not provide funding for new operations or significant expansions in sectors where production exceeds demand or is at risk of doing so. We therefore do not provide funding for new egg production operations.
Priorities may vary between counties. See the regional guidelines for your region.

1. Complete and submit your application
You can find the agricultural application form by logging in to 'My page' with BankID. We will ask you to provide the information and documentation we need to assess your project. Use the 'Talk to an adviser' button in the application if you would like guidance before submitting it. Remember, you must submit your application before starting the project.
2. Assessment
We process applications on an ongoing basis, and several people assess each application. Our guidelines and regional priorities determine which projects we can fund. We receive many applications and have limited funds, so we cannot approve every application.
3. Decision
Your customer adviser submits the case to the decision-maker. Once we have made a decision on your application, we will notify you by email, and you can find the decision on My page. If we offer you funding, make sure you understand the terms and how we will disburse the funds.
