Grants for climate- and environmentally friendly technology

The grant supports the testing and introduction of new technology in agriculture. The aim is to make production more profitable and more climate- and environmentally friendly.

For farmers who want to test or introduce new technology for more climate- and environmentally friendly production.

We can provide investment and development grants for technology that has not yet been tested or sufficiently trialled under Norwegian conditions. This may include technologies that

  • automation
  • sensors
  • robotics
  • platforms

We do not provide grants for low-risk projects that you can easily carry out without a grant.

You can receive funding for 20–50% of approved costs.

1. Complete and submit your application

You can find the agricultural application form by logging in to 'My page' with BankID. We will ask you to provide the information and documentation we need to assess your project. In the application, you can use the 'Talk to an adviser' button to ask for guidance before submitting it. Remember, you must submit your application before starting the project.

2. Assessment

We process applications on an ongoing basis, and several people assess each application. Our guidelines and regional priorities determine which projects we can fund. We receive many applications and have limited funds, so we cannot approve every application.

3. Decision

Your account manager presents your application to the decision-maker. Once we have made a decision, we will notify you by email, and you can find the decision on My page. If we offer you funding, make sure you understand the terms and how we will disburse the funds.

Statsstøtteregelverket

Finansiering fra Innovasjon Norge må være i samsvar med statsstøtteregelverket. Det er fem generelle vilkår for statsstøtte som må ivaretas.

Gruppeunntaksregelverket (GBER) er en del av statsstøtteregelverket og er en samling med artikler/støttehjemler som gir oss mulighet til å gi bedrifter støtte i ulike saker. En eller flere artikler kan anvendes i den enkelte saken. Les mer om GBER.

Rettslig grunnlag for ordningen

Finansieringsordninger hos oss er meldt til EFTAs overvåkingsorgan, ESA. Det rettslige grunnlaget for innmeldingene er gjort tilgjengelig på siden om National Legal Basis.

Annen offentlig støtte

Det skal opplyses i søknaden hvorvidt det er søkt eller vil bli søkt annen offentlig støtte til prosjektet. Vår støtteutmåling baserer seg også på en samlet vurdering av hvor mye offentlig støtte som må til for å utløse prosjektet.

Ved fastsettelse av tilskuddsbeløpet legger derfor vi til grunn at det ikke mottas annen offentlig støtte, herunder Skattefunn, enn det som er oppgitt i søknaden. Dette gjelder støtte til finansiering av de prosjektkostnadene som vi har lagt til grunn for beregning av vårt tilskudd (støtteberettigede kostnader). I tilfelle slik annen offentlig støtte, herunder SkatteFunn, likevel blir mottatt etter at vårt tilbud er gitt, og til dekning av de samme kostnadene, vil tilskuddet fra oss kunne bli redusert tilsvarende eller bortfalle.

Dette er ikke til hinder for at bedriften kan motta annen offentlig støtte til andre prosjektkostnader enn de vi har lagt til grunn.
