Funding for the green transition

The Environmental Technology Scheme provides grants for the development, piloting and demonstration of new environmental technology. This applies to innovative products or processes that solve an environmental problem.

Is your company developing solutions that create more value from marine, agricultural or forestry resources? Processing bioresources into higher-value products and using side streams to create new products can unlock significant opportunities.

Green growth loans support climate-friendly investments in Norwegian companies. This includes capital-intensive industrial ventures that produce new climate technology, as well as investments in more climate-friendly and circular production processes in established businesses. 

This grant is for those developing and testing solutions for a more efficient, environmentally friendly and safe transport system. These may include new technologies, services and business models.

Bionova is our initiative for the bioeconomy and climate action in the agriculture, forestry and aquaculture sectors. We can fund solutions that help achieve the goal of a low-emission society. 

PILOT-E provides funding to accelerate the development and adoption of products and services in climate- and environmentally friendly energy technology. The scheme aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve energy efficiency in Norway and internationally.

The Green Platform supports companies and research institutes working together on research- and innovation-driven green transformation in business and industry. Together with the Research Council of Norway and Siva, we are making up to NOK 644.5 million available for new three-year Green Platform projects starting in early 2027.
