We manage digital solutions for businesses

For some time, and particularly since 2020, we have invested in digital transformation across a range of areas to make public-sector services more accessible to businesses. We aim to make things simpler for companies, deliver the assignments entrusted to us by our owners and the authorities as efficiently as possible, and digitalise services that were previously delivered offline.

Here is an overview of some of the digital services and platforms we have developed in recent years:

One Way In is a digital gateway to public business support services at regional and national level, provided by us at Innovation Norway. Through One Way In, you can access services from Enova, Eksfin, the Research Council of Norway, Siva, Norwegian Catapult, Nysnø, the Norwegian Industrial Property Office, DOGA, the Norwegian Space Agency, Norway’s county authorities and us at Innovation Norway. These are the organisations taking part as of early December 2025, with more joining all the time.

The portal makes it easier for businesses and entrepreneurs to access guidance, funding and expertise without having to navigate a complex system. Complete a short form, and within 1–2 days you will hear which organisations may be relevant for further discussion.

As part of the solution, we use our multi-enterprise portal to share customer data with public business support providers, subject to consent. The solution shares data with 86 per cent of the frontline services across Norway's 357 municipalities. We continuously monitor the quality of referrals, and more than 85 per cent are referred to the right provider. Over 270 different providers are connected to the solution.

Our multi-company portal is a useful tool, particularly for smaller organisations, helping them receive customer referrals and deliver services to those customers. The portal also gives them access to public customer data, saving them the time and effort of finding it themselves. We use our multi-company portal to support business clusters, to follow up Siva's business garden and incubator programmes in partnership with Siva, and to share data with various public business support providers through the One-Stop Shop service.

Business Norway (formerly ‘The Explorer’) is our digital platform for promoting Norwegian businesses internationally. It is an international marketing and sales platform for Norwegian export industries and investment opportunities, making it easier for international stakeholders to find Norwegian solutions, products, services and business partners. Business Norway is a shared digital resource that strengthens international visibility and strategic partnerships in Norway’s export activities.

'Team Norway' and the Norwegian Foreign Service also use the platform to strengthen Norway's global position. We use the platform in our work with inbound and outbound business delegations, which offer Norway an important opportunity to attract foreign investment and promote Norwegian companies and suppliers.

The Competence Centre is a digital platform that gives businesses free access to expertise. As part of the platform, we have developed self-service courses on topics such as sustainability, exports, capital strategy and product requirements. Organisations across the business support system use this shared solution to provide businesses with expertise in a simple and cost-effective way.

Project Support is our solution that makes it easier for businesses to apply for funding and engage with our advisers. It gives you a simple way to describe your project and receive feedback before submitting a formal application. This allows us to assess early on whether your project fits our target groups and helps improve the quality of applications. The solution has replaced numerous forms and brought all our financial services together in a single application process. We have developed Project Support by reducing more than 42 entry points and forms to just five today.

Our online banking service is a digital solution available when you log in to innovasjonnorge.no. It gives your business a complete overview of loans, grants and financial guarantees. You can check the status of your applications, access documents, report on projects, submit payment requests and apply for changes such as deferred repayments – all in one place. We previously handled much of this manually. Our online banking service gives you the overview you need while simplifying and digitalising the funding process. This helps reduce processing times and improves your experience.
