You can apply for most of our funding schemes at any time. To apply for project funding, log in to My page using BankID.
Talk to a customer adviser
You can ask your customer adviser for input and advice along the way to make your application as complete as possible. We recommend contacting us through the short form on My page to start a conversation. You can submit your application without speaking to your customer adviser first, but we recommend discussing it with us before you apply.
Processing time
Once you have submitted your application, we may still need to clarify some points. We process applications on an ongoing basis. Processing time depends on the scope of your application and how quickly we can resolve key questions. We obtain credit information about your company, as well as guarantors and co-borrowers where relevant.
For innovation grants (environmental technology, innovation contracts, bioeconomy and Pilot-T) of NOK 4 million or more, we convene an advisory panel. This means we invite you to present your application to external experts with technical, financial and market expertise. They advise us on the project but do not make the final decision. Our authorised decision-makers decide on your application based on the recommendation from your adviser. We assess larger applications at several decision-making levels, so processing larger grant applications takes longer.
Offer letter
Once we have made a decision, you will receive two copies of a formal offer from us. Please read the terms of the offer carefully, sign it and return it to us by the deadline. Otherwise, the offer may lapse.
Please note that we are subject to the Freedom of Information Act, with the limitations set out in the Freedom of Information Regulations. This means, among other things, that approved funding decisions are public information, regardless of whether you accept the offer letter containing the decision and the applicable terms and conditions. We also publish approved decisions on our website on an ongoing basis.
