Building speed and scale Designing your growth machinery
"Building speed and scale - Designing your growth machinery" is a hands-on workshop for Norwegian companies on 20 October 2025, as part of Oslo Innovation Week (OIW) 2025.
Learn from experts, connect with other ambitious startup leaders, and unlock your company's full potential.
Who can apply to join?
This workshop is designed for ambitious Norwegian scaleups from any industry that are pursuing a massive market opportunity. To make the most of this workshop, your scaleup should have a good indication of product-market fit and be ready to systematize your commercial operations and business.
We welcome 2 participants from each company, preferably founders and/or other C-level executives. The workshop is limited to a maximum of 10 companies and we are looking for companies fulfilling these criterias:
- have paying, commercial customers from a commercially available and complete product and with repeatable sales, and
- are pursuing a significant or massive international market opportunity in any industry and
- have ambition for rapid growth
Applying companies will be subject to an overall assessment of whether it is sufficiently positioned for rapid growth, as well as a relative assessment in comparison with other applicants.
To get most value we expect all participating companies to complete some preparatory tasks beforehand.
What will you gain?
In this intensive session, you'll learn the principles of systems thinking for scaling. Our expert facilitators will guide you through a process of visualizing your business as a dynamic system of functions and assets, identifying key drivers, and understanding how they work together to drive growth and competitiveness.
By the end of the workshop, you'll have an operational flowchart - a visual blueprint of your company's value and revenue generation process. This blueprint will streamline current processes and serve as a tool for ongoing optimization. You'll also identify critical metrics for each asset, prime candidates for an executive dashboard that provides a clear view of business performance and areas for improvement.
Solid scaling competence
The core content of this workshop is building on more than ten years of experience from Innovation Norway’s scaling program EMNY* in New York, where our international scaling experts and their network of mentors have helped a great number of companies scale internationally.
Innovation Norway’s Kristianne Paasche will be the main facilitator at the workshop, building on the great feedback she got from this workshop at OIW last year. She will be presenting and providing concrete tools for your company’s next step - a scaleup blueprint you might call it.
Guest speakers will be
Silicon Valley-based Martina Lauchengco, Partner at Costanoa Ventures and the author of "LOVED - How to Rethink Marketing for Tech Products".
